We came away from the Irish eCommerce Awards feeling proud of the Paysight team and glad to have supported the evening.
Richard and I also took a moment to speak about building and growing an Irish business. You can watch the short interview from the evening below.
On 18 September, we joined the Irish eCommerce community at The Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin. Paysight was there as both a category sponsor and a finalist, which made it a special occasion for us.
For me, supporting events like this matters because Paysight is an Ireland-based business. We want to play a part in the community around us as we grow. Bringing people together to recognise what they are building is something we're very happy to get behind.

Supporting the next generation of Irish eCommerce businesses
Paysight sponsored eCommerce Startup Website of the Year, and I'd like to congratulate both winners, IPERA and Ocean Native, as well as Highly Commended recipient Whyte Country Supplies and everyone shortlisted in the category.
Starting an eCommerce business takes a lot of work before there is much recognition for it. Alongside the website itself, there are products to develop, customers to look after, and all the operational details that keep a business running. It was a pleasure to help recognise that effort.

A proud moment for the team
We were also shortlisted for eCommerce Software Tool or App of the Year. We didn't take home the award, but being included among the finalists was an honour and something our team can be proud of. Congratulations to eDesk on the win and to Prommt on being Highly Commended.
To the Paysight team: thank you. There is a lot of work behind the product we put in front of merchants, and recognition like this belongs to the people doing that work every day.
A big thank you to Kevin Traynor and the eComm Live team for organising the evening, and to the judges, sponsors and everyone who took part. The organisers also reported that €12,346 was raised for Barnardos Ireland on the night, a lovely result for the wider community.
Congratulations again to all the winners and finalists. We were proud to be part of the evening, proud to support Irish eCommerce, and pleased to have a chance to celebrate together.
